My kids' school has a St. Patricks Day gig every year where everyone dresses up in green has a merry time... The parents association put on the bar so we all sit and drink Guinness (4 bucks a can), wine and beer and everyone has a fat ol' time.......

Yes, I have had a pint or two today.....

A bit late as we were out of town but I heard a good one...
What is green and sits on your back deck (porch etc..) on St. Patrick's Day?

It was grim in London, a few pubs had flags outside and I saw somebody wearing a shamrock hat but apart from that you would not have know it was paddies day. Wish I had been in Liverpool for that the party is always great we have a great Irish community.
