I live in a college town, it never ceases to amaze me that they feel the need to open the bars at 7:30 in the morning for St. Patrick's day.

              cheers,

              Patrick

St. Patrick of Ireland is one of the world's most popular saints.

Apostle of Ireland, born at Kilpatrick, near Dumbarton, in Scotland, in the year 387; died at Saul, Downpatrick, Ireland, 17 March, 461.

We've had enough Anglo American tension for one day. Don't you think?

                  Have a nice day!

A comic strip in my local newspaper featured a complaint about St. Patrick's Day occurring after Mardi Gras.
                          Ah well. Sort it out.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to all.

A bit late as we were out of town but I heard a good one...

What is green and sits on your back deck (porch etc..) on St. Patrick's Day?

It was grim in London, a few pubs had flags outside and I saw somebody wearing a shamrock hat but apart from that you would not have know it was paddies day. Wish I had been in Liverpool for that the party is always great we have a great Irish community.
