Sorry do I miss something here?... I do not ask for a free model. I've looking for a method to create the same result of the image. What I got is a "Romanian way" explain in romanian witch almost all of us does not understand and some very helpful comments of some way to createe the model. Sorry "ely862me" I have no money for you, this is a forum to share knowledge no to show who is the only one can make a model. I contribute for some time in the forum but you can keep your precious model for you, I hope you can sell it. I don't think that is a lot room for you here in this forum for share.
If you want to be consider in this forum, ask questions and "share" maybe does not exist that word in your language? or yes?
Thanks again, I hope some other people keep posting Ideas, thank you "shura", I practice your way now, I keep searching for more ways to create the same effect.

No hassle guys, my point is that kalu has yet to tell where the difficulty is? Having Eli supply what we need to know may still not provide the level of info that the general user would need. I was trying to get kalu back to where he was originally, and for the members to help him learn. You only learn through mistakes
I'd prefer that this type of organic shape is discussed and given different methods of creation....
For example...

Use thomthoms Bitmap to Mesh to create it....
Use Polyreducer from here maybe?
This is an option from someone who has knowledge of plugins and techniques etc... We need to know kalu's user level so we can help from that level.
I understand kalu frustration, but not his outburst? Eli's a valued member and invested time and effort to produce the model, plus offered to help kalu? Most of us see the challenge but not user's problem...

As I say to you I put 2 days in this without any good Idea and I tell Eli that I have no clue about the process and he only made bad comments about me tell me that I am lazy. When I ask for the process he just ask for money, so I do not understand where he stand in the process to learn.

I Use thomthoms Bitmap to Mesh also and I came to the almost the same model that you show but I will keep looking for a different way. I hope all we understand ELI's way. I keep try. When I will arrive to the closest way to create the original model I will make a Step by Step tutorial for all. I am not selling 3D models, I am an Architect.

It's be better to resize the bitmap down first. That's effectively polyreducing it. You can usually get quite brutal with the resizing. Keep the original size in the scene and apply that as a texture on top of the mesh created from the smaller version.

I also played with the concept of tracing the contours in Photoshop to give the mesh a more defined ridge. But this is just to highlight another option for Kalu to try out. There's also TIG's Extrusion Tools that'd give a reasonable result.

I would suggest to refrain from posting PM's here and that you can use the report feature or contact any of the mods personally if you have a grievance. It will be dealt with fairly. -

Usually people upload at least an image to show the progress they got,at least to show the imported image into sketchup-but not you.

I think that the explanations i gave and the picture i posted are enough at least to make few steps if not all.
I said trace over(and i showed it in the first picture),i said move the edges(and i showed it in the second picture).

No reason to apologise, as far as I am concerned - I am used to such clashes, I guess they´re inevitable - but what´s really annoying (or offensive) are such "Romanian", "Chinese", or any other prefixes.
Arguing with people is one thing, insulting them is totally different.
