        Hi vidy,
There's a bug in the Zip (wrong folders structure) 😳
Please uninstall previous version completely, download and install the version 3.5 that has been updated on my site.
        Sorry for the inconvenience.
        Best regards,

        DB

ok i've been try it, no problem when its loading now, but when i hit render, i got this message on ruby console:

            Error: #<LocalJumpError: unexpected break>
            (eval):3795:in ocr_query_exportas' (eval):3860:in ocr_pov'

            C:/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 6/Plugins/su2pov35Toolbar.rb:50:in `call'

FYI: im using SU 6 here, is it have to be installed on SU 7 and above? thanks didier

              Hi vidy,

The "unexpected break" occurs theorically when you hit the cancel button of the "Save as" dialog that should pop up when hitting "Render!". Did you see this dialog ? It asks for a pov file name to export. Thus you can save as many version of you model as you want.
              Thanks for reporting bugs...

                dear didier,

actually i didn't see any dialog box popped up, its just seems like there is nothing happen, until i check on ruby console dialog, and I've got those messages, that's why i'm asked about the version problem, since it running well at SU 7.

                  Hi,
I've installed it on SU6 and also got the bug.
The "UI.savepanel" method doesn't work the same way in SU7 API than in SU6 😢
So version 3.5 is for SU7 or higher...
                  Regards,

                        Hi Didier,

I realy like your plugins, but please excuse me for asking but what is the reason behind SU2POV? I mean, aren't there enough render app to render a SU scene/model. Or am I missing something. Is there a special reason for developing this app? Can SU2POW do something the others can't?

POVRay is free, widely respected and hugely powerful.

and because you can never have enough render engines.

su2pov is old, first version was published in 2005 and was one of the first exporter to a render app. There was not lots of them at that time (I mean free, and ascii format). Tomasz developed su2kt a year later, based on su2pov, and since then I've written su2sf among others. Su2pov was like a test program for me and made me learn lots of things about Ruby and SketchUp.
Yes there are plenty of render apps around, I'm not blind you know 😉 but for high quality renderings, you need a payware (Maxwell, Vray, Podium, etc). Su2pov is just for fun, although you can achieve decent results with it, IMHO.
                            Best regards,

                              dear didier,

i have one request for the new plugin SU2POV 3.5, is it possible with the material preset, we still have the "old like" material editor? i mean, i feel much easier with slider bar to all parameter.. 😛

or it is still there, but i don't how to access it 😳
                              thanks

                                  Hi,
@vidy: sorry, but the old material editor has been deleted... (it was windows-only).
@solodown: il me faudrait le message d'erreur en entier (avec le numéro de ligne où ça plante). merci.

C'est la seule information qu'il me donne à l'ouverture de sketchup dans la fenêtre load error :

If you mean attach another image (than the one of the texture) for the bump effect, the answer is no, but you can do this editing the pov-ray material manually.
