It is 16 years old !
So SketchUp's Ruby API might have changed, and thereby made it flaky...
It would be helpful if you ran it with the Ruby Console open and reported any error messages - a bald statement like 'fakeware!' is no helpful...
Please explain the issue - it might be recoverable...

I fixed its code to suit newer versions of SketchUp - it's in the PluginStore.
https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=scenetweak as v1.0, also signed [but not as an Extension per se]

                That's not helpful.
                How is it tragic ?
What happens, or what doesn't happen, etc ?
Did you zoom out to see the frustums etc ?
If you really have an issue and we can help explain it clearly so we understand...

                      Despite your rudeness, I'll continue...
As I'm not sitting with you and I can indeed read, I have no idea that 'tragic' [in your language] meant that it froze/crashed.
Reopen SketchUp. Open the Ruby Console and try it again.
Is anything shown in the Console as it freezes/crashes ?
Is the freeze/crash creating a Bugsplat message ?
Have you read the info on it ?
Could you give us the error report parts ?
Have you submitted the Bugsplat to SketchUp with contact details and an explanation [in concise English] ?

You'll never get any help with a problem unless you give the would-be helper some clues.
                      Other info that might help...
                      SketchUp Version [2023?]
How many Scenes does the model have ?
How big is the model ?
Are you working in the model or in a context edit ?
Does it occur on every model - e.g. even a simple one with say just 2 scene tabs ?
Are scenes named sensibly and show on top-tab row ?
What's your use intention of this too ?l - it is quite niche and somewhat old/limited - and much about Scenes can be achieved by using the native tools...
                      etc
There's lots you can tell us that might not seem too important to you, but it might be to us.

Is there a legal way to use SU 2023 and SU 2022?
As far as I can tell, since 2022 they went full subscription.. and with subscription you can only install the last 3 versions (so currently 2024/25/26).

For this exact reason in the plugins I'm developing I'm supporting all the way down to Sketchup 2017 (which was the last free version) and I try to make sure that everything works properly up to SU 2021 (which was the last perpetual version and my favourite one). Then I test on 2024-26.

I personally don't give a fraction of a shit about SU 2022/2023, because they are currently available only as pirated versions.. isn't it?
