I have two items in a model that I can't select, delete, erase, or hide. They are similar to small plus signs "+". If I recall, they appeared after using the protractor tool. I have attached an screenshot showing the two offending items.

Any ideas how to delete them?

        Hi,

They look like construction points so try Edit>Delete Guides

Download the free D'oh Book for SketchUp 📖

If that does not work, could you upload your model here for testing? We can probably write a script to delete them.

They may be inside a group or component or even several groups or components.

I don't mean to imply that anyone could model as poorly as I but only offer the obvious possibility that there are bit of groups or components on different layers (as opposed to the magical '0') and that thus display and selectability is impaired. If you haven't made this blunder then it made be hard to imagine how aggravating it is. It may be revealed by turning all layers on and seeing if you can select the bits, which may then be hard to find as they may be buried in their now visible context. Sometimes doing a select all or a crossing window select reveals things which are otherwise not displayed if the layering is muddied as described.

But, yes, since they are like cross-hair ticks some kind of construction guide seems more likely. If you turn their display on and their layers, they should be selectable, I think.

They were indeed construction points. Edit>Delete Guides worked its magic.
                Thanks for the quick response.
