Canopy
-
Hi, Would anybody be able to give me any pointers on how to draw a canopy?
I have attached an skp file of the canopy top I'm trying to draw, I can draw the out line ok but I can't seem to be able to create a flowing material face (if that makes sense!). I've tryed using the contours tool but this creates un-even surfaces. It also needs to be hollow!!!!
Hope all that makes sense!!!
Thanks

Tig's Extrude Tool Set should do the trick

or you can just use the Extrude by Rails Plugin on its own

Double click your grouped geometry to edit it
select each curve one at a time and right click and select entity info
under segments you'll see 100 ,change that to 20 for example. Repeat fir each curve
