Hi, Would anybody be able to give me any pointers on how to draw a canopy?
I have attached an skp file of the canopy top I'm trying to draw, I can draw the out line ok but I can't seem to be able to create a flowing material face (if that makes sense!). I've tryed using the contours tool but this creates un-even surfaces.

It also needs to be hollow!!!!

      Hope all that makes sense!!!

      Thanks

      Fred

Tig's Extrude Tool Set should do the trick

        http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=25362&hilit=+plugin

or you can just use the Extrude by Rails Plugin on its own

Hi Fred, if you need something like the picture below, it's 2 min of work with SoapSkin&Bubble plugin.

Extrude Edges by Rails. Reduce the segments of the curves - the file is gonna be huge!

Double click your grouped geometry to edit it

select each curve one at a time and right click and select entity info

under segments you'll see 100 ,change that to 20 for example. Repeat fir each curve
