Given that SU doesn't draw a true "circle", I'm confused as to how to draw tangent lines between two circles or two arcs. I'm doing some design work on wood toys, and I have to admit I'm flustered about drawing simple arcs to illustrate rounded corners. All of my planning and design work is done in 2D at the moment.

          Hi folks.

Alternatively, you can use pure SU without any plugin.

I already answered a question similar to this one in the past with the following procedure:

1 - Use a geometry book. If not available or do not contains this information, search the web with the string "line tangent to two circles".

2 - When you find a page with an explanation like the first one returned by Google at

          http://www.cut-the-knot.org/Curriculum/Geometry/TangentTwoCirclesI.shtml#explanation

          Reproduce the steps using SU.

          Just ideas.

My TrueTangent Tools do indeed repeat the manual steps set out as Jean describes... They just do it easier for you... πŸ˜‰
