Flip issue

Hello
I have a little problem when I flip doors I have drawn in 2d drawings
The curve remain apparent after flipping the object.
Thank you for any advice

make it a group then flip it, then delete the original then explode it...

thanks lucifer
That does not make the job, but thank you; don't worry I will go on making my actual process: flip, then delete the remaining arc, then eventually rebuilt the erased area of the room.

Could not duplicate your problem using SU-6 & 7 free. Downloaded your jpg to SU then traced your geometry and then hid the jpg and things looked fine. The only way I could make it look like your case was to not hide the jpg then one can see both. Is there something amiss with how your are using the 2 d drawing your created in I assume different than SU??
Just a thought: Also try turning hardware accel fast feed back off and and see if you get a different result. -

thanks for advice but acceleration does not change anything
To re-create, put the object to flip inbetween walls
The object alone flip OK
See the image

anglaret,
Maybe this will help. Use the mirror plugin instead of flipping.
select the door and swing arc.
click the mirror plugin
click the midpoint of the line between swing and door
use inference to draw a vertical and click enter
click yes when it asks to erase originalI have attached a small "jing" movie of the process. Never posted a "Jing" before so I hope it attaches and plays.

Sorry - This doesn't seem to open. I need a tutorial on uploading the Jing files!!

Seeing that this is a door symbol - and that it's something that most likely is needed many places: why not make it into a component? then you can reuse it menu times and flip without any problems.

thanks tomtom
I suppose you are right, but a component does not brake an area betwen 2 rooms (to change floors coverings for example)
I suppose I will go on with that thing

You could leave a line to separate the rooms. That's how I would do it.
