Yea, I'm always bewildered by a plain default SU installation. "Where's my tools?!"

It's true.
The default sketchup tools are sòòòòòò 2008.

As a good example, the default scaling tool isn't used by me anymore. Fredos Free Scale plugin replaced it and I never looked back .

The ruby masters are taking Sketchup out of Googles hand. Perfect!
(except for that polycount thingie which we still need Google for to solve it.)

I have been trying to use this sectioncutface.rb. I go thru the menu options, but nothing happens. Any ideas?

you need to instal the plugin that provides that option...
