Slice model at section
-
What it says...
I've been using SU 7 for months now and have just discovered this context menu item for a section plane (see attached)
When I use it, the model will actually and really be sliced away (tried with nested objects as well) and what is invisible will also be deleted.Ideal solution for PR rendering buildings and all with section cuts (along with TIG's SectionCutFace.rb).
How come I haven't noticed it yet?

I think its a feature of whaats new zorro script, which would explain why you havent noticed it yet.

I htought i'd reinvented the wheel. Thanks Remus anyway.

Okay, okay... One never knows whaat you scripters come up every day and I'm already confused with some plugins evr being part of SU or have I installed them at a certain point? -

It's true.
The default sketchup tools are sòòòòòò 2008.As a good example, the default scaling tool isn't used by me anymore. Fredos Free Scale plugin replaced it and I never looked back .
The ruby masters are taking Sketchup out of Googles hand. Perfect!
(except for that polycount thingie which we still need Google for to solve it.) -
I have been trying to use this sectioncutface.rb. I go thru the menu options, but nothing happens. Any ideas?
