      evening all, I'm trying to put a radius around the tube on the outside and inside of the main body, any one got ideas?
      the radius needs to go the extremes of the main body , so nothing at the top, 29 at the bottom and 8 to the side (model is scaled up)
      its for a vacuum port , this is only a prototype, so its a bit rough

          This is more suited to a NURBS environment rather than SketchUp because you are lookiing to create variable fillets.

          ToolOnSurface Offset tool will help you out to a degree to get some type profiles you could loft. But there's no magic bullet.

              It is possible to model fillets with changing radii in SketchUp. I do it fairly often using tools like TIG's Extrusion Tools or Fredo's Curviloft but Rich's suggestion and example is probably more straightforward.

                In the example file it's not as a clean and pre-planned as your good example.

                I think that it is doable but not on the file shared. Where the tube is intersecting the flat top face is a bit of a mess. The tube geometry has a few probably unintentional edges.

                You can do this but you need to pre-plan the profiles to get the nice results Dave does in his sleep.

                  thanks for your time guys, instead of a radius I went with a chamfer, pulled the tube through then scaled the end up. This would be fine, all be it a lot neater , but the profile would work
