Does anybody else like to do renders or models from photographs? I have been (very carefully) collecting images that I think have a lot of promise as reference images for ,modelling and perhaps renders. If I get any response let me know. They are generally interiors and exterior architectural photos.

I use PureRef lots as a mood board. You can paste in URLS for images.

I'd be careful sharing images though because of copyright.

Also, the chip will not replace the artisan, only the idea of the artisan. No, not the thoughts or product of an artisan.

            This.
I use it all the times, not only for moodboards and reference images, but also for any kind of generic references..
I collect all kind of images, technical sheets and screenshot (for memorandum and different versions of model structures, nodegraph variations, render setup, topology layout and UV packing on the go).
Sometimes I also use it to collect notes, color samples or links to videos and webpages relate to projects.
One of my most used "not-strictly-3d-related" tools (alongside other useful utilities such as XmouseButtonControl and BulkRenameUtility).

I have to admit to not really getting 'mood boards', possibly due to the buzz name etc. No real idea how to use them for best effect either, a style of usage perhaps?

Thanks for reminding me about copyright Rich. Frenchie could you or somebody else let me know what is the best AI image generator for just changing an image a bit, Just enough to retain the the intent of the reference image. I am thinking that I could use the reference image just enough to stay out of the copyright envelope. Frenchy If you have the time and inclination, I have attached an image would you mind modifying it with AI as an experiment? I would like to know the outcome to get around copyright for the above reason and how this could be achieved.Office library.jpg Then i would like to try it for myself
