did this just for something a little different from my usual stuff. I did it in SketchUp based upon an image I saw.

I think I will experiment with this a little more. especially with materials -
Stick with it. Groovy theme!
I love this type stuff to just flex your material authoring muscles. You can go crazy layering effects.

I meant that these test scenes with the minimal amount of scope allows you to get creative.
Emission shaders, or non-standard HDRs to just go wild. I tend to use my down time to explore weird use cases for noise patterns and colours. Happy accidents.
