Beautiful door to model

Hi Guys I found this image of a door that wish to model and render. Apart from being so sexy it is interesting that it seems to be where Art Nouveau, art Deco and arts an crafts collide.
I am not expect it to be easy as I am considering doing it with geometry apart from the ceramic brick. If anybody has any advice please well out.

I do wish you luck, it looks like it belongs in a deconsecrated village church converted into a dwelling. SOmething from 'Grande Designs' perhaps. Even a medievel barn conversion.

Familiar with this image. As Art Nouveau as it gets. Been tempted to give it a go myself. Would be cool to try and model some of the Nouveau style Paris subway gates also.

For better or worse… downloaded a few images of this door. Started on a model. If I can get it figured out. Plan is to post it up for whoever wants to give it a spin in a render.

@L-i-am Don’t be discouraged. Started mine today. It’s quite the challenge. Hard to make out all the details in places. Think it’s going to take me a while.

Oof....blockout done but my head hurts trying to keep it clean quads.

Just curious, what tools/plugins (if any) did you use to draw this?
I was thinking about trying this myself. I was thinking about putting the image as a background and then drawing on top of it.

You answered your own question with how you intend to do it.
I just traced the image and used Vertex Tools 2 here and there.
It’s still pretty rough so I’ll just see where it goes.

Hi Guys, I decided to do the door, it is hellish I did the stained glass in Autocad by Autode$ it too many hoursand many more hours just to kix the planars.. If anyone has a godd sandstone texture you could pass on it would be appreciated. I am doing the sandstone as geometry block by block

It was only an experiment so I only bothered going this far with it.
