@majid thank you.
The hatches are limited to the model because that's all there is in the image to apply the hatches, to. The background in the image with the hatching is white.
-
That's 100% SketchUp viewport? That's really impressive!
-
@Dave-R I love how you did it although I can not fully understand you. Do you mind sharing the style or DM me if this is a commercial product, please to learn from?
-
@Rich-O-Brien no, it's not 100% SketchUp. It's a cobination of exported images over an image of paper with stains. It does use one of my sketchy line styles for the edges. The paper image could be used as a watermark but that is kind of limiting when it comes time to edit the image in the image editor.
@majid thank you. As I showed you on the other forum the hatching was done in Foto Sketcher.

@Dave-R Thanks for sharing. Nice tip. I did not check the other forum.

Top notch.

Thank you.

@Dave-R Prima!

Dave,
If you or anyone else is looking for some mechanical drawing type work with Sketchup the Canadian Pacific Historical Association is a good source. You have to register and search. It's free though I should probably donate to them having used a lot of their materials.
They even have some old railroad structures and buildings.

@Gus-R thanks for that. I have been looking for some new sources for stuff to model. I've done a few railroad related models before but it could be time to do more.
