      FreeCAD 1.0 released with the Arch and BIM Workbenches now merged. Still no SKP import support but DAE is supported.

      I've used it in the past for FEM analysis and found it pretty good.

        @Rich-O-Brien looks interesting.. is it robust enough to open complex stp files or it's meant to be used only for small objects?

          @panixia I use it to work with file formats like STP and I've had enough so far, but it depends on the complexity of the model itself. here

            @GrimReap did you use it with individual parts or it can manage models with multiple elements like machinery and such?

              @panixia Hi Marcello, with € 11 you can easily do it even with blender, even with large ones
