Why is there a Remember me Button in your dialogs ?

Why is there a "Remember Me" checkbox if Sketchucation.com is going to ignore it? It's really annoying. Here's a scenario: I know there's a tool called JHS Powerbar. The frustration begins. I go to the Sketchup Extension Warehouse. Does it exist there? No. Of course not. That would be easy.
So i search google to see if its on Gumroad or Sketchucation. I find a link to the Sketchucation store page. I click the google link and am faced with a "Login to get". Foiled again.
This takes me away from the store page. I log in, checking the "Remember me" box in the process. Since I'm away from the store page, I return there using the back button. Now I'm logged out.
So I need to search for the plugin page. In the case of JHS Powerbar, the search result is number 15. ON SKETCHUCATIONS OWN PAGE the result is at the bottom of the first page. In the google results, it's ranked number one.
So it's easier to go back to google and search. Don't use the back button though, because that logs you out.
Close the browser and try to find a plugin the very next day and YOU HAVE TO DO THE ENTIRE PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN. Why? Because the "Remember me" button does nothing at all.

Why is there a non-functioning "Remember me" button? -
@_dpdp_ for some reason a cookie is not getting written in your browser's cache when you click on the button.
If you use the Sketchucation ExtensionStore tool as Rich shows, it will install extensions directly so you don't have to download them to your computer and then use Install Extension in the Extension Manager. In addition to making extensions easier to install the first time, using the Sketchucation ExtensionStore to install extensions from here means when extensions get updated you can find out and quickly update them. In addition you can see what extensions you've installed and when you move to a new computer or a new version of SketchUp, you'll have a bundle of extensions that can be installed automatically. The Sketchucation ExtensionStore is required for license management for paid extensions like those from Fredo6, too.
