@Gus-R Yes that is quality work mate. I have some work coming up for a Government sports pavilion. So seems Government may be an avenue. As far as rendering and modelling goes I have a concept of Art creation which may be original. Yes it is a shame about AI and the feeling of having redundant skills. I have no idea of what part AI will play in Archvis, that is yet to bee seen. One upside though is we have least have a passion and skills/hobby/interest............and that is gold, perhaps not in a monetary sense😊 πŸ˜‰

@Gus-R Does Twin Motion allow you control over the shadows softness? Your shadows are super sharp. But the gobos are soft

I think they are great, I don't miss the shadow adjustment myself but the overall atmosphere is good.

Shadow control in TM is through the choice of HDRI

@Gus-R So do I. It was more of a general query on the lighting options in TM.

Can you contribute light into a scene using both Sun and HDRI?

Ah, I just realised that Render was D5

@Rich-O-Brien I can soften the shadows but it winds up muddling the foreground tree shadows on the porch walk and sidewalk. If I increase the softening it completely wipes out and tree form. This is D5 Render and not Twinmotion.

Architectural visualization went from mid 20th century depictions utilizing pencil on paper; pencil and watercolor; colored pencil; watercolors; etc. Many of which depicted shadows with hard lines.

Today there's an expectation of total realism and a sort of uniformity in rendering styles. Many would argue that as realism in architectural visualization increased such as photo real renderings, the quality or beauty in architecture has declined. The same is true with music and automation and re-processing in music studios.

Whether it's rendering or drafting, much of architecture involves a lot of tedium.

That's so true. My inner nerd starts overlooking things from my perspective.

It's certainly a nice home. Solid render and the vegetation scattering is natural.

Is it quick at rendering? I've never tried it. I go SU to Cycles/EEVEE or Rayscaper. I tried TM but never D5.

@Rich-O-Brien It's a ray tracing engine. Usually takes about 5 to 15 minutes to render depending on output size.
