RayScaper

All quite nice!
-
@majid Wow really like this one. The heavier contrast between the light and shadow areas really adds a more dramatic feel to the image.
-
@majid
Posting photographs mate, sneaky. I LIKE it. -
@Mike-Amos This is the fine potential of RayScaper...only 7 percent of total progress...
-
Spared some time to try an old model using RS. May I ask. for "fake emit" to get it back please?
-
@majid Very nice renders, thanks for sharing.
And the missing fake emission option is a bug! Thanks for reporting, I will make sure it's back in the next release.
-
Thanks Thomas.
I shared the model so that everyone could play with it. The brick texture is of low quality, so please replace it.

@majid Thanks for sharing the model! Super useful for others wanting to try Rayscaper.
-
@pixelcruncher My pleasure to have my hands on such a charming piece of software. Considering my laptop is rather old, not supporting recent graphic cards and all the computation is done by the processor.
Here are more tries to discover the "coating" layer .
-
Very nice renders, they make for excellent Rayscaper marketing materials
-
I can only concur with that sentiment.
-
Thanks for the compliment. I am still experimenting with the coating layer and maybe am not using the right template but the result is amazing.
-
I modeled the building, textured and rendered it to try the exterior scene. Texturing needs more attention and I will rectify it later. By the way, I liked the result.
-
@majid I'm Looking forward to seeing this finished! This is going to be a beautiful architectural render.
Cheers,
Thomas -
@majid how do you get texture like the one on the walls?
-
@ntxdave I made the texture and applied it to the walls, some part is not textured properly and I will fix it.
-
-
@ntxdave Started from a concrete texture and modified it using an image editor (Photopea)
-
Here are some more renders of the same model.
-
I prefer these tbh, the previous version had what looked like overscale texturing.
Very sharp now mate.
