Curviloft and sketchup 2024 problem

@alexpacio2013 I don't know why Curviloft is behaving differently with that but I wouldn't have thought to use Curviloft. The native Follow Me would handle that just fine.

To work correctly with subd, the native sketchup followme command is not functional, you necessarily need the exceptional Fredo Curviloft.

In the images you see what happens with sketchup 2024. The same file inserted on sketchup 2022 works perfectly, with the same version of curviloft and Lib.

There seems to be a problem with VRay, which prevents Curviloft to perform its task. Actually, the problem is not in VRay itself, but in VRay and your model or your model state.

Could you temporarily disable VRay and see if it improves.

I get the same issue, no vray and nothing showing in the console.

@fredo6 I tried to disable I would say. But it doesn't work anyway. I also tried on my notebook, where there is no vray, with Su 2024. Same problem?

It doesn't work with this other method either, however I reiterate that the same file opened with sketchup 2022 works perfectly

I did a new test in my notebook and deleted the sketchup plugin folder. When I restarted sketchup recreated the empty plugin folder, I reinstalled the fredolib and curviloft libraries without installing any other plugins and the problem remains. It is not a conflict with other plugins

Do not waste time to resinstall.

This seems to be a problem in Curviloft, which very strangely is prsent in SU2023 and SU2024 and was never signaled.

I have to investigate....

I don't want to alarm you but I'm telling you that there is also a problem with Fredo corner which in the 2024 version behaves in a very strange way, look at the differences between 2022 and 2024.
Those at Trimble definitely don't give you a hand but without your plugins I can't work with sketchup

Definitely, SU2023 / SU2024 have introduced a change that is impacting some algorithms.
