Well, back rendering tho' I feel like I have forgotten so much it's embarrassing.
The antique white in the standard palette has always seemed rather heavy handed so I am using an alternate.

Whoever chose the tap handles needs to be called out. Yikes!
I prefer the 1st image lighting. The 2nd seems blown out in places.
Are there walls behind the camera to bounce light around the space?

Taps, yep a pet hate but the setup is driven by what was salvageable from the drive rather than liking them. I shall have something more appropriate soon.
Walls all around so light bounce is OK, but the light units on the ceiling are recessed in v2 which has reduced shadow/relief on the ceiling itself.

I'd play around with camera position and FOV. As it is the eye is funnelled towards the corner.
I tend to go between 16mm to 24mm for interior shots where you need to see the space. But its always tough when your not finished populating scene.
Good job so far

Thanks Rich, also thinking of changing the splash tiles, too distracting possibly.
