Hi Guys, I am at a stage where I know I have to start post production work 😞 I have been trying to avoid Photo$hop or Gimp etc. I do not like Gimp as the interface hurts my brain and is only somewhat similar to Photoshop, in that it would not help very much as I could not put PS in my resume if it was a job requirement. My main use for photo editing software would be used for rendered image maipulation and editing. The link below is for an app called 'Photopea' It is inentical to PS regarding the UI so once learnt PP would allow you to intantly get to work with PS. It is free online (with some ads) or for $3.33 a month as a download without ads of course. The reviews I have seen are very good but it does not have some of the more sophisticated (esoteric) features so ok for me anyway.

        Affinity Photo is my preference.

I used PS for years but Affinity Products offer much more value and their licensing is clear and transparent.

Download the free D'oh Book for SketchUp πŸ“–

Thanks for the heads up on Afinity photo. It looks very good for my purpose and it is half price right now so good timing πŸ‘

You might also take a look at Xara Photo and Graphic Designer. It is pretty easy to use and they have a very good promotion price going on.

Another tip for Affinity, it has a learning curve like any other but I have to say it has surprised me.

Looks interesting. Looks like it can paint 3d which sounds a bit unlikely.

It's great for personal use, but if you want to advance as a professional, you should start with Canva.

Because Photopea is a Photoshop clone, I recommend learning Photoshop before learning Photopea.
