MSPhysics 1.0.3 (16 October 2017)

Hi Anton,
Any news on when you'll be able to release an updated version of this wonderful Plugin?
Best,
Juan -
Hello.
I have a question for the participants of this forum.I would like to use the videos I made with "mspysics" and "sketchup make" for commercial purposes, what do you guys do in such cases?
If I have a "sketchup" license, am I not in violation?
Or do I have to buy "sketchup pro 2017" somehow?
I posted a question here because the terms and conditions of sketchup.com don't make sense to me.
Please let me know what you think.

Hi Anton,
I am also awaiting the release of an SKU2021 compatible version of MS Physics..Can we expect to see this soon? -

The terms of use for SketchUp 2017 Make are clear that it may not be used for commercial purposes. Having a license for an older version of SketchUp does not change the EULA for Make. If you need more clarification on that you should seek legitimate legal counsel.

At this stage it's not likely that Trimble would sell you a license for SU2017 Pro. It's long out of support and they don't sell licenses for unsupported versions. The current version for which they are providing licenses is 2021.

Hello Anton,
I hope you are fine and as a programming and physics genius you have a lot to do ...
My questions:
Is it feasible to make the existing (ingenious) MSPhysics compatible with SketchUp 2021 and what effort would that require?
SketchUp and Ruby API have changed a few times in the meantime.
Could outsiders with more or less programming knowledge help you? Possibly also financially.
You're working on a new version. Can someone help you with testing?
Otherwise, porting the last version v1.0.3 to SUp2021 would be very helpful, as you already have to keep 3 SketchUp versions:
SUp2016 32bit for Sketchy Physics, SUp2017Make for MSPhysics and the current SUp version for daily work.
I hope the users' interest in exercises and simulations on a physical basis for SketchUp does not wane.
Since SketchUp is only available in paid versions anyway and since more and more professional plugins are chargeable, this would also be conceivable for MSPhysics.
Well, moaned enough.
Best regards, Andreas -

What version of SketchUp are you actually using? Your profile says Pre-6.

Can anyone help me with this simulation of multiple plastic bottles over a conveyor?
I need to know the flow of bottles over the conveyor. Whenever i run the simulation, it crashes.
Don't know the reason. Also, if possible how can i model a simple flat belt that runs instead of this chain type belt. I have attached the file which i modelled in sketchup pro 2017.
Hello
... traduction google ...I have been on this forum for some time but I do not participate much ...
First of all, I wanted to thank "Anton_S" for the development of this plugin! Very good work !!To answer utsav1110, I think it is not possible to make a rolling strip (soft belt) in MSPhysics. It is necessary to go through the production of a chain, with pivot type connections.
Your file crashed, I don't know why, it happened myself, solution: copy all the elements into a new Sketchup file and reset the simulation parameters (speed, pass, etc.). Closing and reopening the file from time to time avoids some slowness and crashes.I have modified your file (attached), a little on the modeling but especially on the configuration of the elements and the connections. It works, I think plastic bottles can be improved. MSPhysics parameters are very precise (and that's fine) so handle with care.
Thank you again to you "Anton_S"
Good luck to all

Hi Anton,
thank you for your useful plugin!
I often use it for destruction sets, to skatter piles of debris here and there or fracture objects and drop the shards organically.
I just realized it doesn't work in SKP2020, I am so bummed!!!
It looks like there was a hope for MSphysics2 to be released in July 2020 and I would love to know if we can still hope for it to be released in the foreseeable future.
I'd be absolutely willing to pay for this plugin by the way or financially support its development.
Thank you!

Hi Anton,
For me, as a professional designer of pontoon docks, a reliable physic simulator for such floating items would be extremely useful. Our company is also ready to pay for it;just like we pay for other professional software too.
Cheers,

I hear you guys. I will put the effort this rainy November to revamp the plugin. MSPhysics will be free since I am using an external physics engine, but some of the features that I come up with will require a license. That way I could make some profit from the time I invest in the product. Have a great weekend!

Hello ! How can i connect these sliders ( or can be a piston joint )in a way that if I move one the other will move in the opposite direction or to affect its position (without connecting them directly). Thank you!
Hi Cristyan
There is very little info in your request ... and I don't see an answer to your problem on this post ... so I interpreted your problem ...
You didn't want a "physical" connection between the two elements, but an opposite movement interaction.
I think I did the job (Anton, tell me if it's okay), tell us Cristyan if that's what you wanted. The keys to operate the cursors are left / right arrow. (The script is in the "PR" block)
When the left and right arrow keys are pressed at the same time, the cursor returns to the middle.
The central objects (in pink) have a different and automatic script, that could help you ...File edit as link, tell me if that's what you were looking for.
A + the team

Hi Anton.
MSPHYSICS is a very terrific tool. Perfect and perfect tool for us teachers. However, we are in trouble because it cannot work with current 2021 Sketchup Pro.
Do you have any plans of updating this tool so that it works in the current sketchup even if it means turning it into a paid version. We will pay to have this plugin. It is super useful

Thank you for your plugins, they are very cool -
Hello Anton and hello to everyone here:
Admittedly, my model Klappe4hinges.skp is now in disarray. It was adjusted better. But I still don't have an overview of which few settings absolutely have to be right for a simple mechanical operation of my flap to take place.
Two larger parts should be placed at 90 degrees to each other by two smaller bones and 4 MSPhysics joints. But I wonder if 4 joints on 4 parts can be calculated at all. Anyway, I can't get the settings right.
Who can help me?

Oh, thank you, yes, this is, what I want.
In my tests the moving parts allways were restless unsteady.
What did you set in the MSPhysics settings??Sorry, now I see your model.
… and I opened it with SketchUp Make 2017 and MSPhysics 1.0.3When I toggle start, the shorter bone falls down and also more parts beginn to be restless.
How did you get the restfull moving in your little film?
How can I look for the differences between yours and my model?
Thank you, that you gave me back my trust, that MSPhysics will move my model!!

Dear Necati, now I see your switching the Joints Accuracy from fast to accurat.
As I try to do so, my Sketchup-Make-2017-Installation brakes down. CPU over 100 percent on Mac OS X 10.13.6.
I think, I have to install new. May be, I can delete the settings in Library/Preferences … -
Hello are there any updates on when this could be compatible with SU2021 & 2022?
