Entourage Arts - Where are they now?
-
Do you guys remember Entourage Arts? They had some great hand-rendered clip entourage that they sold as sets and individual files. I am wondering if they are still hanging around these forums. I have scoured the internet to see if their stuff is still for sale but it doesn't seem so.

Susan Sorger is her name. Nice lady, if I remember correctly she used team up with Jim Leggit as his handrawn stuff was top notch.
She retired I believe. She used to use some app for the illustration appearance. Can't think of it's name now.

Drawing Shortcuts by Jim Leggitt
That book is 20 yrs old now. But still super relevant for anyone looking to build on top of SketchUp output.
He still teaches too online...

none of my bees wax , but I'd thought I'd chime in. . .
I met her once and talked to her at SU's first basecamp in Boulder CO if memory serves. OR maybe later. Very nice and helpful.
Her name in the forums as "sorgesu" if you want to search her out. But her website entouragearts.com doesn't seem to be working. Hope she's doing well.

Hi Guys, Pete alerted me to this thread. Thank you for the very nice words. However, I did NOT use any APP for the "hand-rendered" look. The entourage was all hand rendered in watercolour, scanned and then painstakingly masked to create a "cut-out".
Some folks still have my entourage email address, it still works. I have been known to supply the odd volume when people ask.
I did indeed retire. I was also the Canadian Authorized training Centre for Sketchup and travelled all over Canada for 5 years teaching in many cities. It was gruelling work and I was pooped. So I retired early, and I am working as a full-time artist. Well, sort of. I am preparing to prepare to be a full -time artist.
So very very nice to be remembered!
