Night moves x UPDATE 2
-
Very nicely done, I like, but only a lot.

Nice work Bryan
I always wonder why people seem reluctant to put people in models though. There are some very good quality 3d people both seated and standing available in 3d warehouse. I think a person sitting in front of the computer screen just partially blocking it may add another dimension to the image, just for instance. -
I don't put people in because I can't good free ones and cannot afford to pay for the good ones.
But you say there are good ones in the 3d Warehouse? I'll take a look again and if I find one I'll use it! Thanks!

Thanks Mike.

Nice. It's always good to do something and call it practice.
-
Thanks Dave.

Great Bryan, also I will send you some links to other good free 3d people this evening

-
UPDATE. Added a person and made the scene a little brighter.

-
Very good.

Thanks Dave.

Into Simon's territory now with the atmospheric render. Great job.

Thanks. That is one heck of a compliment.

Nice work mate

Just a thought though, if the woman is holding and looking at a phone could you make the screen an emitter give it a good bit of power above the standard 35 that would put a bit of glow on her face and give the composition depth, it may take a bit of experimentation to get it right (If you are not able to make the phone scrreen because it is mapped together just make a face about 2mm above it and make that the emitter) Perhaps put a little stand-by led on the tv, and perhaps a bit of shine on the ceramic stuff? That would send an already good render to the next level
-
Good stuff ! Really like these type of renders that are "moody".

Eventually yes. Good suggestions.
I spent 36 hours tweaking the settings on this render and the final pass took 3 hours. I'm gonna take a break.

I also have other very pressing problems right now. I may be homeless next week.

That is awfull news Bryan, I have no idea of your situation but hope the situation gets resolved in your favour.
I know about the tweaking, it exhausts me as well. And like you I need to step away from it for a while
Good luck with everything
