It's been so long when started using Ms physics tool and I have learned so many things from developers but the thing is found on YouTube or over here , is flying an object like helicopter and air plane,
J have downloaded a model of an air plane, the plane can fly yeah, sketchyphysics is used in that model, the I want to ask is, how can do that in Ms physics?

Thanks for letting me know. I sort of intend to rewrite MSPhysics over simply recompiling the libraries, which should take a while.

                Hi there,

Im trying to apply breaking forces's to scaffold components to simulate when it will fail under a set load.

It looks to be possible by setting a breaking force to the fixed joint. the problem im having is the numbers are not making sense, e.g. when i rest a mass of 4kg on a joint with breaking force of 1962N (equal to 200kg of force) it breaks.

Am i messing up the settings?

                Mass info

                Joint info

                  Hello Ash Henderson,

You are not messing anything up. Forces from the fixed joints are indeed incorrect. This is a bug in MSPhysics and I will fix it on the next release.

                  Thanks,
                  Anton

Thanks Anton, im looking forward to it!

MS Physics has been great in simulating the failure in overloading or over extending cantilever scaffolds.

Keep up the good work, You are doing a fantastic job!

If you look at the posts a few earlier you'll see that it's not compiled for the newer SketchUp version...
                            Hence the error messages ?

Dang, just paid $300 so I could use this one extension, but it doesn't work with version 2019. Does anyone have any similar suggestions, or a way to create hinge points in a drawing? Thanks

I'm sure a v2019 compatible version is under development...
In the meanwhile you could get v2017 [Make?] and try using it with that for your hinging work...
You can always use 'SaveAs' in a newer version model to get a v2017 SKP that's compatible...

i'm trying to simulate gears and linkages and all my components just fall apart. it's like the joints are weak, and things gradually just start to wobble and fall apart. anyone know if there's a way to stop this? i dont want the joints to break. cheers 😃

If you share the .skp file, we may have better information about the problem you are talking about and we can help you.

Please tell me how to configure the plugin

How to stabilize objects moving in a closed circle ?
If there are a lot of objects (ball, cylinder, cube) on a closed line, they move not strictly along the center of the line, but slightly coming off in different directions from it

Sometimes objects are collected in one pile

                                        Changed settings, but little helps

My sketchup is hiding the objects, when I press start emulation (about 10 seconds). What is happening?
