Create curved edge molding on curved surface.

I'm trying to create a curved edge molding on the surface with the arrow. Most of the tools that would be obvious don't work on a curved surface. Can someone suggest an alternative or an extension that might do the job? Thanks

How large is it and what shape is the molding? Maybe you can upload the file so we can see exactly what you've got and what you're trying to do.

Looks like this Fredo tool, Joint push pull, is terrific and should do the job. However, no matter what parameters I set with the Round Push Pull tool, I can't seem to get the edges rounded so it would look like a 1/4 round t-molding. Does anyone have a suggestion for how I'm using this tool or a better place to post for an answer?

I suspect an understanding of the basic follow me tool would solve your problem......

Another thing to be aware of is the segment count of the profile you want to bevel.
It looks like you have a very detailed curve.
But Box is correct. SketchUp can natively do this with the FollowMe tool

alternately...make the round profile you want, and use stock Follow-Me tool.
