    Hi, guys!

    Is it possible to make a single curve/line of an arc and a line connected? Or of two connected arcs?

      Will 'Weld' do it for you.

      Go to SketchUcation plugin store and type 'weld' into the search box for the plugin extension.

        Yes, you need to "Weld" it - use a Plugin like this http://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=TIG-weld
        I have mine shortcutted to J [==Join]
        Select the edges/curves with connected ends and no branches and a new Curve gets made...

            It this were possible with the native tools then why would someone bother to write a Plugin ?

            Curves a bound edges in a 'welded' form.
            Arcs, Circles and Polygons are all Curves, but get additional properties, so list separately in Entity Info.
            If you deform on of those it remains welded, but becomes a Curve in Entity Info.

            In Ruby code you can do somethings unavailable with the native tools - here we combine suitable edges into a Curve, in a 'Weld' tool...

              Hi Joe,

              I was once resistant to using plugin and exclaimed "why can I not do this simple thing straight out of the box". Once I spent a few minutes working out how to install plugins i did not look back. With the Plugin Store and extension warehouse this could not be easier. I would recommend to give it a go and before you know it you will have more tools than you can shake a stick at.
