How do i make race bucket seat SketchUp

Hey all
im new to sketchup and im using the program to design a sim race cockpit to scale so far i ve made the base.
now im stuck on the seat i have no idea how to make one i tried side profile where you use follow me tool but thats about it.this is the actual product i want tocreate model with actual the measurements http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/sparco-rev-fia-motorsport-seat/prod_515.html
i found a few models on in the warehouse but i cant seem to get the right measurements and dimension correct.
so guys how do make one from scratch i cant find any guides or tutorials or can some one be kind enough to make the adjustments need to the warehouse model to the actual real life measurements to the model in the above link.
dont know who else to ask or where to go i have tried very hard searching on goggle but had 0 hits,

Look at the SketchUp Artisan plugin as a way of making organic shapes like seats.

from understanding all that plugins does smooth the the model, im looking on how to actually create the bucket seat.

You make a 'proxy' from a simple boxy shape.
Drawing some rectangles, pushpulling, scaling etc quickly gets you the general proxy form...
That is pretty simple SketchUp 3d modeling, needed to make a seat that is approximately the right size form.
If you can't manage that read up on simple SketchUp modeling.
Learn to walk before you run...
If you get the proxy, you use plugins like Artisan to smooth that form to be more seat-like [aka 'organic'].

With subdivision modeling that is the little problem as you must imagine an approximately primitive simplified right size form and this form will be subdivised so transformed!
but...here some tricks for avoid that!

That is all SketchUp.
With a Plugin at the end to 'subdivide' > smooth, and another to give 'thickness'.There are several 'tutorials' on making organic forms.
You should stop thinking of it as a 'seat' - it's just an organic 3d shape.There are several car-making tutorials [look on YouTube] which demonstrate how to make a faceted shape for body-parts with the SketchUp native drawing tools - they are no different from a seat...

It's all SU and yes I did make it using the techniques mentioned by TIG.
