i am a french beginner in sketchup and i need something for my job:- i hope you can see this picture, i would like to hide "the black mesh" but if i put "hide" all the piece will be hidden... so i don't know how to do it

Hi fred, your image is not visible. Please use the "upload attachment" feature in order to post images directly on the forum.
About your problem, maybe what you want to hide is some geometry placed in a nested group/component? If so you need to open (double click) the group/component and select only what you want to hide. -
I don't see your image, but maybe you search for "view -> hidden geometry"?

"Soften Edges" is probably the tool you need, access either through window or context right click on selection
