      Dear friends,

Can anyone out there tell me what needs to be done for changing rectangular light color in vray. i tried lot but found only luminance changes from white to yellow or to blue as i want. but its color remains white the it is seen in its default mode.in realty when we switch on blub with blue colored glass it give blue color luminance & same time it looks blue not yellow though it its filaments gives off yellow light since it is surrounded by blue color glass it determines its(blue) color of light.

      Thanks & Regards

      Pankaj A. Tamore

What software? This post might fit better in one of the rendering forums.

Maybe I didn't read all the way to the forum name! I see this IS in the V-ray forum! Unfortunately I am not the person to help with V-ray. Bump.

No worries, I moved the topic after pankaj said it was vray. 😉

you want the light itself (the rectangle) to appear to be a different color? Or you want the light that is cast from it to be a different color? I'm not sure I follow what you are trying to do here.

If you've changed the color but it still shows as white, you might try reducing the intensity of the light. The light is probably just too bright to see the color in your render.
