      Hello everyone,
I love this site and this will be my first post.
I have a question about SketchUp Textures. Is there a way to preload the textures? For example, I work for a company that does a lot of Site plans and I use other textures and I have to load them each time I make a new site. Is there a way to just save the textures in to SketchUp if so how?

      Thank you

It's different on the Mac. Here's how I do it.

Go to the Materials window and click on the brick icon.

Then in the List menu below the space where textures show choose 'New'. This will create a new library.

          Give the library a name.

In the Color menu, lower left, choose 'New texture', navigate to and choose your texture image. Adjust its size as needed in the dialog box.

Rinse and repeat for the other materials.

Of course you can sort your materials into as many different libraries as you need.

I prefer to make libraries on the PC. I find it easier because you can take the materials used in a model and create a library from that. when I am creating material libraries I usually do them on my PC and copy the library over to my Mac. I have a slightly different way of doing them on the PC than shown in Rich's fine tutorial.

Is this an alternative explanation? http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=367095#p367095
