[Plugin] Divide Angle v1.0.1 20130621
-
Thanks TIG.
-
Wonderful!
-
That's cool, TIG! Til now I have drawn a cline, copy/rotated it and divided by how ever many divisions I needed....
-
Sir, you are a mastermind that makes masterpieces. Thank you!
-
added to basic tools.
Thank you Dear Tig++simon
-
Thank you, sir.
Is there a metric version? Gets hat, coat....
-
It's based on a sort of sexagesimal - base 60 - version.
660 = 360 degrees in a circle NOT 100...
Then it's all calculated in bloody Radians - 2PI in a circle...
BUT you enter a ratio anyway
2 or 3 or 4 etc...
-
Thanks,
Most useful

TIG,
This plugin is great but not listed in the plugin store
-
It will be...
-
I have missed this one!
-
Now added to the PluginStore list...
-
Muchas gracias, amigo

I installed the RBZ file in SU Pro 8 and it does not load. I check the extensions, manually downloaded the extension, still does not show in the Ext. list and, of course, it does not load.
What is the problem???
-
What do you mean by "install"? Did you just move the rbz file to the Plugins folder? What operating system?
-
Assuming you have installed the .rb into your Plugins folder [somehow] and restarted SketchUp...
Then please reread the tools instruction son the first post in this thread...
It is NOT an Extension, just a simple tool.
IT only works from the context-menu, and only appears if you have selected two lines that are suitable...
I have reprinted the key paragraph below:
@unknownuser said:Usage:
Select two edges that are not parallel and that could intersect if they don't
already share a vertex.
Right-click to get the context-menu 'Divide Angle...'
Note how this context-menu item is only available if the selection is appropriate.
In the dialog enter the number of divisions + OK [default is '2'].
It must be a positive integer [2 NOT 2.0]; otherwise you are prompted to retry.
Also it must be 2 or more; otherwise there's an error message and it exits.
Guide-lines are now drawn through the two selected edges and the division[s] as
you have specified.
The angle between the edges that is less than 180 degrees is always divided.
