Does any advantage to subdivise "Flat surfaces" ?
for example here all the bottom part -
Yes, from some angles you can see the stretching in renders. I would use 2 more loops.

nope, a straight up point to point modeling exercise. All that was used was Vertex Tools for the extrusions and scaling.
