Changing an arc
-
first I want to appoligize if this topic has been covered ( see my other post shortly before this )
I found a tut that said all you have to do is use the move tool on the midpoint of an arc and you can change the bulge. all my arcs are still intact but they are full of endpoints and not main mid point. any attempt to use the move tool moves the entire arc. any one know what's going on?
-
When you select the arc does it say Arc in the Entity Info box?
An arc's endpoints (the very last endpoints) change the diameter and the midpoint changes the bulge.
-

They mean that point.
-
it just highlights the whole thing. don't think it labels it as an arc entity.

Could you post the SKP?
If it isn't an arc anymore (or never was) you can't change it as if it was an arc.

If your arc has an even number of segments, then, as Dave suggested, use the 'Move' tool (nothing selected previously though) to move that endpoint in the middle of the arc.
If your arc has an odd number of segments, than you should look for the midpoint right in the middle of the arc, to perform the 'Move' operation to change the bulge. If your arc is grouped, then enter its editing context (double click on it) to be able to change the bulge.
