I thought that there are alot of people on this forum that have alot of great knowledge and are willing to share it. In that spirit I wanted to start a thread on what's your ONE tip would you give a beginner?What's your One tip that you would give a newbie renderer?

Use the forums of the app you choose for help and knowledge.

My company makes a renderer that functions on a 'no options, what you see is what you would really see' type of arrangement which has been aimed at beginners though.

If you don't know much about photography then it's a good idea to start learning. Replicating photographic techniques will definitely help you to get realistic results - especially with product shots.
I've discovered that the hard way and the more I learn about photography the better my renders become.
