Problem with Outline
-
Hello.
I´ve got a little issue it would be fabulous if you guys could help me.
I´ve designed a facade with several rectangles. Please see the attached file.
Now when it comes to rendering, all the outlines of the rectangles are invisible.
Is there any way to make them visible? Or how can a change the thickness of the outlines of the rectangles? Thanks for your help.

Look at your Style's settings.

Hi Thanks TIG.
Could you be a little more specific please?
When I play around with the settings in the Style´s menu, I see the lines are thicker in Sketchup.
But the settings doesn´t affect to the rendering. Btw. I do the rendering in Vray.
Thanks. -
NOW you mention that it's a v-ray render question ! Doh!
You don't get 'edges' in renders - they almost all render just the 'faces'.
So to see 'edges' as distinct lines you'll need to add 'chamfers' or 'profiled edges' etc to your the panels to get them to cast a shadow and appear as panels when rendered. At the moment they are completely 'flush', so there are no 'gaps' to be rendered where they meet........

Yeah sorry I could have said it earlier...
But thank you anyway. That sounds plausible to me.
I´ll try to add profiled edges to my panels.
Thank you so much for your fast reply.
