    Hello everyone!
Can someone explain how TexFresnel works? I googled and found this http://www.vray.com/vray_for_sketchup/manual/refraction_layer.shtml but it seems outdated.
I use TexFresnel as reflection map and i know what the IOR does, i even found a list of IOR values for different materials, but what about Refract IOR and the other variables?

    ?!?

thanks a lot for the explanation majid! but i can't render your skp file 😞 the materials list in vray is empty. maybe because we use different vray versions? i have 1.48.89.
but your idea is really good: im just gonna run some tests myself with 20 different cylinders and see how different values behave.

edit: ok, here's the results if anyone is interested. wanted to test more (multiplier by exponent?, texFresnel on refraction map slot?) but got lazy...

no need to change the IOR for refraction, as there is no refraction in your scene. BTW seems you are now ok by experiencing πŸ˜‰
my KT tutorial also contains the fresnel explanation...(http://www.sketchupartists.org/tutorials/sketchup-and-kerkythea/kerkythea-take-a-deeper-look-at-materials/ )
