FollowMe can 'twist' as it extrudes...
          FAK does not 'twist'...
Which is often what is required 😉

Then laugh maniacally as the children fly off to their death on the first curve.

Oops Tig slipped in there to explain what I was referring to before I said it.

That the point why the drawhelix13 tool to create a spiral is not a good ideal in general. The top and bottom of his spiral is inverted. What he need is a coil not a spring to use sketchup push-pull tool.

So the tool (FAK [FollowMeAndKeep]) you refer too. works well with helix spring for a slide. good ideal.

huh? the draw helix tool has nothing to do with it..
normal sketchup follow me doesn't have a 'road-like top' option.. (or in other sketchup lingo, it will not auto-fold edges)

in the case of this slide, the vertical faces need to break (triangulate) in order to keep a level top but follow-me won't do that.. it keeps all the sidewall faces coplanar which leads to the twist..

hence the need for a plugin.

The tingle may be FollowMe Helix. Look it up in the Candy Sto-- uh I mean the Plugins Index. Also, I believe DrawHelix is up to 1.4. And here comes somebody else.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

That the point why the drawhelix14 tool to create a spiral slide with SU follow me tool is not a good ideal in general. The wire spiral is always twisted. What he need is a flat coil slinkey not a twisted wire spring to use for the slide.

So the tool (FAK [FollowMeAndKeep]) you refer too. works well with helix spring for a slide. Good ideal.
