Good question. I have an idea for how to do so - I'm just not sure how it'll work performance wise. (Backup plan would be to add CPoints in the positions of the control points - so SU's infere3nce engine will find them. But I hope I don't have to resort to that. I want to make a custom inference engine that prioritize the control points over the normal inference.)

Thanks Thom, looking forward to seeing the end result. πŸ‘

          ThomThom,
I can't wait for this. Your plugins are well written and thought out. I have confidence in your efforts. I've been wanting this kind of capability for a long time. I think I may have said this once before: Quality plugins take time and effort, and creativity to develop. Reasonable fees for them are completely appropriate, IMHO.

          Thanks in advance!

maybe this could become part of vertex tools to make it more attractive now that artisan has added vertex tools. πŸ˜‰

Thom's Vertex Tools has a wider range of selection modes than Artisan's. They are similar but also slighty different. Albeit both are excellent!

agreed. i'm just dreaming or maybe hinting. πŸ˜„

in fact i was just playing and compared to TT's vertex tools the ones in artisan are almost unusable πŸ˜•

#1 TT tool with 24" soft select #2 artisan with 24" soft select both moving along green axis

The two products will be kept separate. Vertex Editing and Bezier Patches are two completely concepts and mixing it them would just complicate the plugins and make them more difficult to market.

Vertex Tools will be getting an update before I fully focus on Bezier Surface.

Lately I've not had time to work on either. I've had to take care of non-computer related stuff. (a.k.a. real life)

Yup! I felt I needed to slip a tease in order to keep up the pressure of working on it. I've had a quiet period for a while now. But it ain't easy with summer coming up 'n stuff.
