          Really great work!

It looks like you made the most common mistake by beginners with SketchUp who eventually render their scenes.
You need to increase the segments used for circles to 48 (minimum) because the segmented circles are obvious in renderings. SU default is 12 segments per arc/circle.

You mean the ears, right? As I said, this is my very first work on Sketchup, and by that time, I didnt know that the segments of the arcs could be changed. But luckily, only the ears take this mistake

Btw, let me show you guys some of my new stuffs in Sketchup 😎

Personally I would like to see the wires and possibly a bit of "how to" on that VW Beetle. πŸ‘

the first model I used Subdivided%Smooth so the technique wasnt completed, there were still some problems. But the result was quite satisfied.

Love the helmet! I did one a while back. I had some good references for blueprints if I did them up are you interested? My model was not as clean as yours I only used a basic shape and then spent Christmas Holidays painting it with my tablet in Photoshop.

I lost the model in a western digital hard drive failure however last month I tore up the old case and removed the drive and am going to attempt to fix it by putting it in the freezer for 24 hours apparently that gives you 10 mins of up time?

You make it sound easy, but I still don't understand what happens between having the blueprints placed and then the model almost done in the next step 0_0

I'm amazed and puzzled. Really, how do you do that?
Let's say in the helmet, that looks easier than the beetle.
You start outlining the side view and extrude it?
And then... what? outline the front view and... hmmm there's where I'm lost

                            I forgot to say
                            GORGEOUS!

Actually the Beetle is much easier than the Helmet because it has been done after I got some "technique" about 3D modeling. Such a shame that I've lost the original file in a HDD failure, just like liam887. I couldnt blame the computer because it had been serving for over 5 year, too much for a pentium 4@2.0ghz pc. Even I had uploaded a backup on the internet, the file was corrupted too. You guys can have a look at this link: http://www.mediafire.com/?zqnzog0ggyd If anyone can recover this file for me, I'll be very appreciated!!!

And if you guys dont mind, I can do a little bit "tutorial" for this so you can easily imagine how it's done. I'm sure it would be quite easy. Just wait for 1-2 days.

btw, I notice that you guys didnt respond much about the Reventon. I think it's much better than the Beetle because I took me nearly two months modeling πŸ‘Š

Thank a lot for introducing this site for me! I've been searching for a full blueprint of the suit in Google but the quality was very poor. Now I have the inspiration again to make the full model of the suit with SU. It's gonna be something 😍
