Oh where oh where is my mac

doesn't sound good, but you will be covered by UPS as you have to sign for expensive things when they are delivered dont you? Not on the same money bracket but I ordered a t-shirt from Spain and it still hasn't come!
When I ordered my Mac Book Pro three years ago it apparently got shipped from Japan and took a month? so who knows what apple are doing?

ahh well im sure it will be fine worst case scenario its lost/stolen but thats apple and the distributors problem they will send out a new one no problem! still a bummer tho I gather

reminds me of a thread at a mac forum last year..
same setup as yours then the OP calls apple and they send out a new one.. it arrives then a week or so later, the other one shows up..
the thread then grows to 50 or so pages with internetArguments about the morality&legality of keeping the 2nd laptop..

that's funny. Would be tempting, but I couldn't sleep at night if I were to keep both. -

I have the best and worst of both worlds.
Under powered PC at work and (at somepoint
) a over powered mac at home. -

Well update,
UPS have been unable to tell me anything, so I phoned apple and they are going to send me another one.

To be honest, I've had nothing but a very good experience from Apple. Unlike HP, who were bloody awful. I dumped the HP and stuck with Apple.

Yeah, the poor lady on the phone caught a little bit of flak but i made sure she knew it was directed at her.
The next issue could be i have two macs for the price of one

They have sent a replacement for the one the Yam Yams stole.
