A gust of wind

Very cool, there is a new plugin that can animate it now.
-
Thanks guys.
Rich here you have some raw SU's screenshot. Very simple setup.
Saw that plugin Solo, maybe I'll try it.

Excellent lighting. What can you tell us about the makeup of the wax. What numbers did you use for subsurface scatter, index of refraction etc.?
-
A new version. Added something and changed a bit the lighting. The fabric was taken somewhere from a bedroom scene and "worked" a bit with S&S plugin. Again Twilight, only 60 passes this time. no post work.

Thanks Roger. If I remember well you use Kerkythea. The material I've used for the wax is the "milk" from the translucent material pack, with no changes. It's a simple mix between a dielectric glass and a tranlucent mat, with scatter and falloff. It comes with Twilight installation as well.
IOR=1.35
Fog settings
Emittance=1
Scatter=1
Falloff=135 -
Massimo, Perfecto...

Amazing. Absolutely amazing.

Thanks again guys.

Mate you are an artist!! No doubt! It's in the detail - the direction of the flame, the lost wax resulting - who else would care for such detail unless it is part of their personal charter!
-

still waiting for the OSX port of Twilight to have a go myself, BTW -
Thanks for the kind words. Cheers Richard and Alessandro.
