Not sure I'd like that tower, either. At least it has stairs, though.

Definitly NOT a job for me. 😲
My hand are all sweaty and my fingers and feet hurt just by watching.
              I wonder why?

The worst part was near the top when he just held with one hand.

Why not use a parachute for the way down?

Some people do this sort of thing for fun.

I knew a guy about 20 years ago who would climb the antenna towers around Madison, Wisconsin. He did it without any safety gear and he would do it at night. He'd carry a stuffed animal with him and tie it to the tower near the top so when a worker went up to service the beacon or whatever, they'd find it. I lost track of him. I wonder if he got a job climbing them or what.

Then there are these Russian kids.

That was so hard to watch, I had to force myself to finish. I was hoping they had parachutes on, but NO 😲 Besides crazy, what kind of a person do you have to be to do that? The funny thing about it, I have jumped out of a plane at 13k feet above the ground and had no problems but being a bit nervous and the thought of bungee jumping just horrifies me.

what do you think their wives say to them every morning before they go off to work?

If I make it look easy...It is probably easy

probably, 'have a nice day honey' while their fingers are crossed.

When I am on the back of the telescope dish no more than 20 feet off the ground I move slowly and definitely no "free climbing." I don't like fall harnesses, they have a one-use bungie that just keeps you from dying, I would much rather have a rock climbing rig where the rope is always in tension. Could you imagine a 3400 foot rope that would be able to be more than just a hindrance? The give would be monumental, it'd probably snap, guess I am not doing that job. 😉

I managed to watch the entire thing but I am glad I ate more than a few hours ago, sweaty palms, quick breathing... Fortunately there was comic relief in your comments.

Arrrggghhh! Why won't it make a face!!! Stupid, no good piece of... Oh look! The line went to the wrong point. Whew... moving on. (My fights with sketchup.)

                              Hi folks.

I saw that there is another similar tower nearby.

Imagine that these guys realize, once on the top, that they choose the wrong one 😐
