New WIP - Corbu Shodan House - Update 2/05/10
-
Had an urge to do some modeling - so I started another Corbu residential, the Shodan house in India. A very unique concrete structure dated 1956. I will be keeping the majority as original with some contemporary updates and placing it in a different location. First three views to document working layout and core conc. structure. Composite images from both TwiR renderings & SU exports. Let me know what you think so far
Thanks,

Update showing some different views with texture tests and some experimenting with modernizations. Let me know what you think!

These are excellent Dean. Great work!
It's a nice style you have and the building looks so good in this state of mid build. I really enjoy seeing the structure of buildings in a model.
My favourite is the last image. The concrete looks fantastic, especially the ceiling.

Nice work. I like the 3rd image best. I do not like showing the whole building in one shot. I think showing smaller sections adds to the overall feel of an image and makes a person look further.

Mor Progress - Different views! CC always welcome.

Dean, this style you're pushin' better and better is a real winner! Lovin' all these images (and I'm guessing my clients would love them too :`)
-
Excellent, I love this house.
Any chance that you share this model, I would be happy to push it further! -

You should do a Tutorial on how you achieve these stunning images !
"Just my cup of tea"...More lucratively... you could make an SCF 'mini-publication' PDF; I'm sure Mike Lucey would be pleased to add one to the portfolio: Tadema already did one for his modeling/rendering style... I know it's not mega-bucks but you do get some reward and also become a proper 'author' !

Very nice. I'm not style-fluent but certainly love Corbu and your images look very nice. It would be nice also to see the images which are your model sources. EDIT: I see there are lots of images on the web.
As I too, would like to explore the model in virtual 3D, I wonder which viewers would be good in allowing such exploration but which preserves the modeller's rights in a satisfactory way? (Yeah, that's or him to say.) What are the options, please? 3DPDF? SketchUpViewer?

Excellent model and style.
