    • RE: REQUEST: Comp & groups tranform dialog box

      Thanks for the answer.
I didn't know about JF Moveit, that's a good start! too bad ther is no scale parameter
with that it could make part of the job.
      Let's wait and see...

    • REQUEST: Comp & groups tranform dialog box

Hi jewellers, something we really miss in Sketchup is a transform dialog for components and groups.
I remember Transformation Matrix by Thomthom but it is very mysterious and hard to deal with for noobs.
Do you think that it is diffucult to write a proper transformations dialog box in Ruby?
      Best regards

    • Selecting all edges in selection cycling through groups

Is it possible, via ruby, to select all edges within a selection cycling through hierarchy (groups, components, nested groups etc...)?
My final goal is to paint them with the material of my choice.
      Thanks in advance Ruby masters!

    • RE: Nodebased GUI [WIP]

      Hello Jolran,
      sorry if I disturbed you.
I know nothing about coding, I'm just an everyday Sketchup user.
I think that you guys coders and developpers are like shamans dealing with something that is like magic for me.
When I'm working on something I always want to know if others are also digging in the same direction and I try to get in touch with them to exchange thoughts and ideas.
This guy, Eric, is explaining the problems he meets trying to achieve his script sequencer, I just thought it would help you. But everyone has its own way and some prefer staying focused on their own stuff.
Please continue your own way, we are thousands Sketchup user behind you! ☀

    • RE: [REQUEST] Hide texts and annotations when perspective on

      You're right TIG,
to be honest I am always too in a hurry on one hand and too lazy on the other hand to put the texts on the right layer...
      I will follow your advice.
Many thanks for the prompt answer and for what you bring to the community!

    • [REQUEST] Hide texts and annotations when perspective on

      Hello jewellers,
do you think it is possible?
I use a lot of 2d texts and annotations while working in plan view, but I want to hide them automatically when I orbit and switch from parallel projection to perspective...
      Thanks in advance
