I actually got more than a thumb that went numb when I was suffering from repetitive strain injury, which stopped me from using my PC for a while.
At least it makes a perfect rhyme.
Not sure if I could find one for low back pain ๐Ÿ˜†
As for the avatar: I found it on the Explodingdog site http://www.explodingdog.com/
( hope itยดs not copyrighted ). That funny character having hard time over some impossible shape seemed quite OK.

            Comfortably numb...

๐Ÿ˜† Ooohhh yeah... Sorry about that...
My avatar... Well, it's really simple... It's a smoking baby... ๐Ÿ˜†
Can't remember where I found it, but I thought it was "funny" and took it... ๐Ÿ˜„
Although I'm smoking cigarets in real life, it's nothing special - really... ๐Ÿ˜‰

My anickname [to use its old-English form as 'other-name'] is my initials T+I+G .
I was called that from ~5 at junior school - someone older than me had the same first-name [out of 7 pupils ! what's the chance !!]
Later, I kept it up and signed all my manual-drawings and letters with my initials - so it stuck...
Also near to where I was born the local Army Regiment [of my grandfather] and the Rugby Football team were/are the Tigers; and of course tigers are strong/fierce/powerful/potent etc etc... [or cute/funny if 'tigger'...] - it has little 'downside' except for becoming extinct !!!
I prefer it to my 'real name' - which is a bit 'naff' - BUT my mum [see 'Brief Encounter' lead for a clue...] and close family would still use my original name - as would one of my old-fashioned bosses years ago who wouldn't allow nicknames... I'll answer to almost anything...

                TIG

                  My nickname story ...

I'm an architect, I live and do a fair amount of work in the Sierra Nevada mountains (we live about 1-1/2 hours from the Yosemite Valley floor), so ... MtnArch!

I have too many outlandish things to say and my rants often end up in someones search results
A word of warning; a client googled my name one day and found me ranting about the war on this forum. So I decided to changed it. Looking around the house for inspiration I saw the word Linea on the label in a jumper. (There is a UK department store called Debenhams, their own brand is called Linea)

As for the avatar, my friend is an actor, for a while he had a drama company called Rare Breed and wanted a suitable logo so I just mashed 2 photos together. I keep thinking I should have a go at modelling the critter in SU.

EarthMover is a play on the fact that I am a landscaper by trade and tend to move a lot of Earth around on any given day......it's also my wife's nickname for me in bed....just kidding on the last part. ๐Ÿ˜„
