      Just got it. Thanks, Dale.

Y'all excuse me, I gotta go subdivide something.

EDIT: Chipp, that link makes both Safari and IE go boo-boo. It's an evil link. Why do you post evil links? Do you whish to taunt us? Are you evil? πŸŽ‰ ... no more coffee for me today. I'll try with Firefox later on.

Wow! That's a really cool video! I can't wait to see more of the stuff that users will create with this plugin! That is the most exciting part for me!

It works fine here on WinXP both IE and Firefox. It would help if you could tell me more details, such as what platform you are on. The URL is a basic URL provided by the screencast webservice. They've been in business for years providing screencasts-- I would expect them to have figured out the cross-browser compatibility issues.

One last thing, what version of Flash plugin are you using? I think this playback format needs version 8.

            Thanks Dale,

BTW, for those who haven't yet seen the video, it shows the knife tool working in Parallel Projection mode. The knife tool is a FANTASTIC addition to this plugin. IMO, It alone is worth the $22. You'll certainly find more uses for it outside the SubSmooth stuff as well.

            Great stuff.

I'm on a Mac, and not my own one, at the moment. I'm pretty sure everything'll work just fine on my trusted little MacBook.

No idea what version of Flash is on this computer. But I'm pretty certain it isn't up to date. πŸ˜„

Anyway, looking forward to watching that vid later on.

No dice. I can't watch either of those vids on my MacBook either. Flash is up to date, but both Safari and Firefox crash as soon as the page starts to load. Woe! Woe! πŸ˜„

On PC the flash tut works.
Good tutorial Chipp! (the action is a little fast to follow though πŸ˜‰)
I do wonder why you used the smoove tool in the end to add some bump. Couldn't that be done with the proxy modeling tool Whaat incorprated as well? Just curious.

[EDIT]: Both the flash animations posted on this page seem to play at a really fast speed, making it impossible to follow what's going on. Is it just my PC, or is this intended? The speed prevents me from learning things about the plug.

                    @Whaat,
Congratulations, my friend, with the release of the plugin. πŸ‘
Now if I just could find a way to purchase it without having a credit card I could join the party ..

Bought it! And really like it.
After a quick test I have some questions.
Is there a easy way of hiding the proxy geometry? (Preferable on a separate layer.)
Is it possible to have the extrude tool select faces by hovering just like the push pull tool?

                        Whaat,
Just bought it ! Looked at the tutorial and dit some quick testing.
                        Works like a charme !! Great work !! 😍
It is a great improvement on SketchUp as a modeller, altough it is imho still intended as a formost rectangular modeller the occasional 'organic' bit can now be done in an eassy way inside SketchUP whithout using a different modeller.
                        Thanks,
                        erikB

Dang, SU must be updated to handle higher poly models. I keep on crashing SU with this plugin.

Just a quick question, ow many polys does a subdivided chair, say, have?

Well, this chair was subdivided by hand, but I'd say it was fairly average to any chair I model in SketchUp and has 6674 faces. Some of those are tri's some are quads so it would be considerably higher if the model was triangulated.
